When we tell you that not a single day goes by without a leak around the Samsung Galaxy S22 . After unveiling the colors of its Plus version, the MySmartPrice site has decided to reveal more information about the high-end model of the South Korean manufacturer ‘s next flagship .
Now, almost everything is known about the Galaxy S22 Ultra ahead of its expected announcement early next month.
More vivid colors and a 4-camera setup
Leaker Ishan Agarwal does it again. Ahead of Samsung’s presentation on February 8, the insider released all the information about the Galaxy S22 Ultra as well as its official renders. After the colors of the Plus model , here come those of the ultra high-end version. The premium smartphone will feature more vibrant colors than its previous version, with blue-green and pink models, in addition to classic black and white.
The photos revealed by the MySmartPrice site also reveal an interesting detail: the presence of an S Pen, which seems to confirm that the S22 Ultra will take over certain advantages of the Galaxy Note. Its sampling frequency would also increase from 9 to 2.8 ms, which would allow it to be three times faster .
For the rest of the design, we note the disappearance of the photo block in favor of teardrop modules. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to have a quad-camera setup, with a 108-megapixel main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 10 MP telephoto lens. The latter has a 3X optical zoom coupled with a 10 MP periscope with 10X zoom. The front sensor would have a resolution of 40 megapixels.
45W charging and Gorilla Glass Victus+
For the rest, the site claims that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will ship an Exynos 2200 processor in certain markets, notably in Europe. The Samsung smartphone would also be launched under Android 12 with a homemade overlay of One UI 4.1. The premium model would be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, as was the case with its predecessor. The manufacturer would nevertheless have revised the fast charge upwards, with a power of 45 W.
The Galaxy S22 would also be equipped with a 6.8-inch QHD + (3,088 x 1,400 pixels) Amoled screen, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz that can go down to 1 Hz thanks to LTPO 2.0 technology. Small novelty, the slab would be protected by a glass Gorilla Glass Victus + , more resistant than the previous generation. Same story on the chassis side: the phone will be based on the “ Armor Aluminum Frame ”, 10% more resistant than the old models. Result, the Galaxy S22 will weigh its weight, with 228 grams on the scale, in particular thanks to its measurements of 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm.
